Days Inn by Wyndham Hernando

The room was excellent. It was tastefully decorated in a modern way the furniture was excellent I love that there was a big comfy chair and a second chair at the desk to sit at so me and my husband could both have a chair the linens were very comfortable the decorations were great everything was very clean I couldn't if it selected any better

The room smelled a bit but that was to be expected with a smoking room

Nothing!

It was stark, cold, the toilet didn’t flush properly, the bathroom door was dirty and had been kicked in, our toiletries were all opened and half full. The place was awful. We didn’t stay. We immediately returned our keys to the front desk (no apology or comments from them!) and found another hotel up the road. The next morning, we received a text from them asking us when we thought we were going to check out!

There was a choice of 2 cereals, a couple muffins, a couple breakfast sandwiches and a roll. For the price l paid l expected a little more than that.

The lady at the counter was in pajamas and looked like she just woke up when l was checking out. They were very rude at check in as well.

Local to small town hernando.. easy access less traffic but highway entrance almost across street. Rooms are fine but not refined. Value is good. Our area was quiet, parking not a problem. Coffee good . There is really no food just dry cereal and a mattering of prepacked muffins and yogurt

Absolutely unacceptable experience at this Days Inn. The online price was $40 cheaper than what we were charged at check-in. When we questioned the difference, the clerk claimed it was because it was the “last room available.” That was a blatant lie — there were still rooms showing as available online at the lower price. When my husband said it sounded like price gouging (especially during a winter storm when travelers are vulnerable), the clerk actually smirked and nodded yes. That alone told us everything about how this place does business. To make things worse, the toilet ran every 10 minutes all night long. We barely slept. Between the dishonest pricing practices and the condition of the rooms, this place should be avoided at all costs. There are plenty of hotels that treat guests with respect. This is not one of them.
