Hotel Restaurant Am Park

Exceptionally warm and welcoming staff, clean although relatively small room, great to have the restaurant downstairs who might be able to cook custom meals for you. A variety of complementary items were readily offered. There is a great park within one block with at least three playgrounds, and an opportunity to take leisurely walks. Will absolutely come to stay with Vinko again at the next opportunity.

It may be difficult to get a hold of the hotel staff at times. On one day, a fellow traveler kept ringing the doorbell and knocking around 1 PM with nobody to let him in. On a different day, a delivery truck driver could not get in with a loaded cart. Also, when we had to check out, in the morning, there was nobody available, so we had to drop off the key and leave. It is an understandably small operation, but it may lead to somewhat difficult situations. Already mentioned, the room was fairly small, and there were no drawers to lay out the clothes: not a big deal, but would be handier with the chest of drawers. And while there was a bar and a liquor cart with a variety of bottles, the only two things were on offer: the (ubiquitous) Aperol spritz and gin-tonic.
