When in Foggia, stay definitely here! The place is clean, lovely decorated and the breakfast is awesome. Also the restaurant recommendations from the host are terrific. Absolutely amazing to summarise my stay at Foggia. To start, when I arrived, Giani made sure I felt at home from the beginning. He asked whether I was parked on the streets and recommended a private parking (better safe than sorry) at 1 min from the accommodation (10 EUR overnight stay). When entering the apartment, the setting was even more beautiful as on the pictures. Eye for detail at its best. We had a short tour in the apartment, I was given a wide range of recommendations to eat, and we spent a lot of time discussion the surroundings (things to do in the area, must sea, history of the city of Foggia etc.). When I asked where I could do my laundry he was so kind to join me in my car and take me around the city to show some amenities as well as the parking. The city, Foggia, has little to see and to do (old city center is nice) and the restaurants that are recommended are on a 5 to 10 min drive (from better quality restaurants to Pizza venues). Giani gave me some background of the history of Foggia to better understand the setting today (as it gives a somewhat "cold" setting). However, the city is perfectly located to continue your trip to Puglia or the Gargano National Park (which I visited, recommend 2 days). The stay it self is very comfortable, the room gives a very warm feeling, the setting is beautiful and everything needed in the apartment is in place (again with eye for detail). There is a store right across the street (small supermarket). The beds, I must honestly say, are the best I slept in for more than a week (having spent time in very decent hotels/b&bs) and the airconditioning works just fine; There is also a small terrace which is nicely decorated with cactuses. The breakfast, again amazing. I was used to the typical hotel breakfasts but this was a non-stop buffet of home-made dishes. Whether you want plain yoghurt, fresh juices, home made cake, fresh fruits and I received a home-made dish (foccazia) for my next trip.

I can't give any negative points, the only recommendation, is that when you turn on the warm water, it can get extremely hot :). I would only recommend to limit the max degree. Other than that I was limited in providing info on the advantages. I had found this stay based on the positive and extensive reviews and I cannot recommend any other stay in the surroundings, price, quality, setting, warm-hearted people.

The breakfast was amazing! everyday new delicious local food. I’m lactose and gluten intolerant and they managed to make every day a special and delicious breakfast. the owners are very polite and know a lot about the area.
