Travelbee Seaside Inn

This place is terrible. It is a tourist trap. The window is broken ? And taped. The curtains are not curtains..light is coming in in the morning ..tiles are falling from the bathroom wall. The faucet is leaking. The door has a gap and everybody passes through the corridor. ( Noisy ) ..there was a party going on till 1:15 o'clock ...bathroom was not very clean and there were cockroaches.. In the morning we got stuck in the elevator for 15 mins.. The breakfast was poor. Only instant coffee and fake juice. No fruits.

The location

We were underwelmed after our stay with Travelbee. The rooms did not match the photos. Hygiene was questionable. The feet towell in the bathroom was ripped and stained. The bath towells were full of stains. The window in the rooms did not close. We asked for a hand towell and they refused, as well as a second access key card, which was also denied. The breakfast was poor.

The staff let us leave our bags while we went to Chocolate Hills for the night. When we arrived back, we got the key and found the room was very clean, with good air con and lovely cotton sheets, and some toiletries. The shower was good and the breakfast was tasty.

There was a lot of noise in the street (which wasn't the hotels fault) until 4am and some guests came in quite late and banged their doors and were chatting quite loudly. There is a sign in the room to say keep the noise down, but maybe they didn't read it. Perhaps a sign in the lift just to remind guests?

Clean rooms and nice view.

1. Door was malfunctioned (cut wire) upon arrival and had it repaired right away though. 2. CR bowl lid was faulty. 3. Few breakfast choices

Location. Room ambience and cleanliness. Daily prompt room cleaning. Free filtered water for the rooms. Super quiet in the superior room. Close to everything, even the main jetty is just a 5 mins walk. I loved this place. I actually rebooked and stayed longer. 😆

It's only a small suggestion for improvement. A fridge and an electric kettle would do wonders adding that extra touch.
