Oasis Botique Motel

If you plan on staying here, DONT! The room smelled clean but upon further inspection, it was dirty. There were boogers crusted on the walls, hair from the previous tenant all over the bathtub and bed. The bed sheets were stained. Behind the tv and night stand, were dead bugs and tons of dust. Us and another couple were the only ones staying there and they just so happened to put us right next to eachother. Let just say we got absolutely no sleep because the other tenants decided to indulge in some adult activities ALL NIGHT LONG! Not saying its the other couples fault, just bad planning on the motels part. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! We paid for 2 nights but ended up leaving after the first even though no refund was given. 1 out of 10

This place is ridiculous!!! The waitstaff runs everything, since the manager is completely absent. We had set up reservations and when we got there after driving 12 1/2 hrs, only to find a sign that said cash or check only taped to the door. They couldn't run a credit card or anything but the next day they were sure happy to "run" it then and steal our money. No one was there that could authorize a cancellation when Hotels called them. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!?

Spent a night at the Oasis Botique Motel on my way back to Colorado from New Mexico. Notice the name is Botique and not Boutique, and it is just an old motel and it looked old from the outside too. The inside on the other hand was quite comfortable and well equipped. The bathroom can use a little upgrade, otherwise the place was not bad. The motel has a restaurant and it was popular with locals in the morning. Both the restaurant and motel are cash or checks only, no credit cards.

The staff were nice enough to offer us 3 rooms. One was not cleaned, another had such a strong incecticide smell that keeping windows open for 2 hours did not help, and the third seemed cleaned but the bed sheets were obviously used, there was some... splatter. We left.

The room was very nice and clean. It smelled so good when we walked in .. the stuff was nice. The view was beautiful and two deer came ant eat right out our room. The only problem was no hot water for a shower.

The room was fine, the staff friendly, and the restaurant in the best in town. The only problem, they don't tell you before the motel is cash or check ONLY. The same credit card you reserve it with can't be used.

Really enjoyed our stay. Room was really clean. Would stay again. Nice adjoining restaurant too.

Need to be renovated.

The check in was easy and staff was super friendly. The rooms were older but clean and overall comfortable. We were a large party and booked 3 rooms for our overnight stay as we were passing through Raton. I would definitely stay again as it was an affordable option for a clean and comfortable way to catch some much needed rest on our journey.
