Queen of the Loch, Balloch by Marston's Inns

A small hotel with a good restaurant on Loch Lomond. The hotel rooms are a good size, clean, and the beds are comfortable. The restaurant is located in the second building, as is the reception. Breakfast is very good, with a nice selection. Besides breakfast, the food is good and doesn't break the bank. Parking is on site, free for hotel guests. The staff is very friendly. A good choice if you want to stay for 2-3 days and explore the area around Loch Lomond.

It's a hotel, with all its pros and cons. Some might find it a bit of a problem that the restaurant isn't in the same building as the hotel. But that's a very small inconvenience.

If you need a disconnect and a place to relax, this is it. The room was big enough, clean and comfortable, no noise or anything. The restaurant had a very nice menu (amazing food), friendly staff, nice view. Everything you can ask for in a location like this.

Het was ons niet duidelijk voor welk ontbijt we betaald hadden tijdens de boeking. Gaf enige verwarring wat nu incl. was en wat niet.

Hôtel bien situé pour découvrir Balloch et the Trossacs. Personnel à l'écoute, très souriant et pointu concernant la sécurité physique et alimentaire.

Unterbringung in einem Nebengebäude, das in die Jahre gekommen ist. Die Lage ist sehr gut. Loch Lomond ist nur wenige Schritte entfernt. Mit dem Zug erreicht man Glasgow in 50 min. Der Schlosspark ist schön.

Zimmer sind dunkel und abgewohnt. Nur sehr einfaches Frühstück im Preis inbegriffen. Kaffee und warme Speisen müssen extra bestellt werden. Es war auch nicht 100% sauber.
