"Nice to stay at a place that feel (and is) nostalgic."

I wanted to stay at a place that had history/nostalgia and along Route 66. I think Big Texan lives up to that. The steak place next door. Several amenities added to keep up with more modern hotels.

Sometimes you can’t separate nostalgia and old. The worse thing about old places is that they usually don’t have enough electrical outlets. Didn’t care for the stairs, but I did know of them before reserving. Place lists “balcony”. Only balcony I saw was the common balcony outside the front door. NOT a private balcony.

"Disappointing, when it could have been unique."

Its in a good location and right next to the steakhouse.

This quaint motel was probably really nice 15 years ago, when I imagine was the last time the rooms were upgraded. Now its just old and tired. Both the TV and Wi-Fi were spotty at best. Due to a weak signal both basically didn't work after 7pm.

Great location, right next big Texan steak house. Room comfortable. Spacious. Ample parking.

Walls very thin, could hear next door snoring. Need more plug sockets, especially next to the beds.
