Hotel Alexandra Sitges

The room was decent size and had a comfortable mattress and some conveniences, like kettle and small refrigerator. It was conveniently located between the old town and the new part of town.

I had asked for a quiet room on a high floor but their response is that they can't guarantee you that. The problem is that the hotel faces a fairly noisy square with cars, motorcycles and a garage coming in at all hours, plus people who bring their dogs which often bark, and small groups of men --drunk, I suppose--who congregated every afternoon for hours talking loudly and yelling. So if you are trying to get some rest during the day, or sit to read a book on the balcony, forget it. On the other side, there is a noisy cafe. It's fairly quiet at night, but during the day, forget it. The hotel has poor insulation/acoustics, so youwill hear all the noise other guests make walking up and down the stairs, moving chairs, etc. I would say noise is the main drawback.

Lovely little hotel. Friendly owners and staff, great location; it’s near to the centre but quiet. Comfortable big bed and some nice touches like a mini fridge and a little washing line and pegs on the balcony for beach towels etc. RF key-card access to hotel and room very convenient. It has everything you need in an excellent location. We’d happily stay here again, and probably will.
