Hotel is in a fantastic setting, nice staff and everything easy.

Could do with a quick lick of paint here & there. Carpets etc are a bit worn out.

The surrounding area was beautiful and the grounds.

Having to walk to another building for our breakfast, although it wasn't far so not a massive issue. Small parking area and nothing to do with the hotel build the condition of the roads were awful.

Our superior room was not superior. No lock on back door had come off. Fence was broken in courtyard enabling people to come into our backyard. Understaffed for breakfast didnt recieve tea and coffee as they forgot our table and served others. Breakfast was extra with being able to choose one or two items. So we left and went elsewhere.

Great location, friendly staff, excellent breakfast.

The rooms felt a little run down, bedside lights in both rooms not working. Make shift plug in bathroom hard to use. Only 1 cup in room so could only make 1 hot drink. Was overcharged for room, but got a refund after querying it. I feel the price we paid was very high for not much luxury. You can’t use the facilities ie pool unless you book treatments at and extra added cost.

Setting. Staff on site helpful and pleasant. Staff on phone at company headquarters not so Food was good

The Old Swan & Minster Mill is located in a beautiful, tranquil village location! We loved the pub where breakfast is also served and where the low background music is a really cool mix of classic covers combined with original artists. The food in the pub is very good too along with a range of beers, wines & spirits. Staff throughout the site were very welcoming and helpful. We stayed in a lovely garden room.

We had a meal in the main restaurant- Wildings which was a combination of frustration and the delight. We waited over an hour for the chateaubriand we’d ordered in a restaurant which had one other couple dining in it! It was fantastic though when it finally arrived, but had it not turned when it did we’d have gone to pub! Although our room was lovely a bit more attention to detail when it comes to cleaning our room would have scored the hotel better. There was evidence of dust in place you wouldn’t expect.

The fact that is really quiet and you can just relax outside

I didn’t like the fact we have to keep going over the pub to grab our coffees and teas and drinks by the time Bcome this site would be nice and cold so that’s one of the biggest downside
