Quality Inn West Lafayette - University Area

The best part about this hotel is that it is only about a 5-10 minute drive to Purdue's Campus depending on the destination, and it is right across the street from Walmart.

There were quite a few things that could be improved. I stayed at this hotel as a kid (12-15 years ago) and remember having fun playing in the pool and having a good time with my friends. I hadn't been back until just a week ago, when I stayed here with 3 other friends from college, and we were appalled by the conditions. Everything looks exactly the same as it did over a decade ago, but worse. The hotel in general doesn't have a very good smell, and everything looks outdated. The walls and condition of the hotel overall are poor and dirty. When we first entered our room, we noticed that there was a yellow bathmat in the shower (one that was likely clear at some point in the past) with black shoeprints all over the bottom of the shower. The toilet itself had yellow and brown urine stains on the seat that we had to clean ourselves, and we had to ask for more toilet paper the morning of checkout because they didn't even have a full roll for us for a party of 4 for 2 nights the first day we checked in. I don't even think anything was cleaned by room service other than the trash being taken out, and the beds were small (2 doubles) and uncomfortable. Also, the price of our room for the weekend was outrageous. While I understand that prices are inflated for Purdue football home game weekends, paying $783 for a hotel in this poor of condition should be illegal, and I would never have paid for a hotel like this if I hadn't have split the cost with 3 other people. I would not recommend this place to anyone unless they are okay with being in a dirty environment and would favor a good location over cleanliness or comfort.

The room was very clean and tidy. The front desk staff was very nice and helpfull!

Disappointed I didn’t get the room I paid for. Disappointment to see towels and bed coverings heavily stained…not very appealing

Very friendly check-in….straight to the room to find drapes on one side were inoperable because it was torn down partially….went to report it right away because they made sure twice we were responsible for damages…the manager told us Thankyou he would get someone on it….stayed two days no one showed up to fix it. We were on the ground floor next to parking. People’s lights coming in shown right in our window. We pinned it closed with the pants hanger clip out of the closet. Other than that it was enjoyable stay.

The sign said breakfast available until 9:30 and the guy kicked me out right at 9am We never got our room cleaned the entire weekend even after asking the front desk We had to pay $800 for two nights and it was a complete ripoff My daughter got bug bites from the hotel room The carpet was damp in the room and smelled moldy The breakfast was just okay, all the bread and biscuits were stale
