Temple Side Hostel

The location was very convenient and within walking distance to the train station, which appreciated. Cozy and clean facilities, although the lockers were on the small side (to keep in mind if you bring a big backpack).

I would have given this stay a 10/10 if it was not for the last interaction we had with the owner. We were very thankful for him letting us keep our stuff for 2,5 more hours after check-out, until around 17.30 instead of 3pm. However when we arrived to pick them up we washed our hands in the bathroom (which apparently was not allowed after checkout) and got absolutely scolded by the owner. His sweetness and hospitality from the night before was completely gone. Even though the first thing we said was sorry he went on about us being rude and in the wrong and that we did not apologize(?). They had a little wall with notes from the people who stayed there and I was writing a note to give to the owner when the interaction happened, which he then told me I was not allowed to put up? I have never stayed at a hostel where you are not allowed to wash your hands or use the bathroom when you pick up your stuff. It was stated nowhere on the booking description, nor in the “lobby” and only stated in a text from the owner on WhatsApp like 45 minutes before we arrived (around 16.15) to pick up our stuff, so we missed that text. Apart from this weird interaction the hostel itself was great:)

服務超級好~演唱會結束後半夜才到，商家還熬夜遠端幫我們入住非常熱心TT 整體住宿環境也很棒，交誼廳小空間甚至還有桌遊、還有明信片耶~ 地理位置更是超級好的，附近有赤崁樓站的youbike、離火車站很近、有超級多美食，以背包客棧來說應該是CP值天花板了。

隔音真的不太好~旁邊廟會敲鑼打鼓一早就被吵醒了XD我們在離浴室最遠的房間，有人吹頭髮的話也是非常大聲~適合睡眠很沒問題的人來喔。另外要自備毛巾喔!

洗手間很乾淨～ 覺得床算大～很好睡😆
