From the moment I arrived, every team member I interacted with was exceptionally respectful, attentive, and kind. The service was seamless and made me feel genuinely cared for at every turn. The food was outstanding full of flavor and beautifully presented and it added to the overall sense of luxury and comfort that defined my stay. The lobby being on the 12th floor was a little different. Staff all very nice - not quite Four Seasons level but still pleasant and friendly. Really enjoyed the pool and dry sauna on the 11th floor, though regrettably the steam sauna was down for repair. One odd thing - the bathroom in our bedroom (I was there with my two kids), which has no lock, is one common area with the shower and toilet. So make a note - bathroom is one person at a time. No brushing your teeth while your kids use the can or shower (glass walled shower).

I stayed at the Ritz-Carlton Chicago in November 2024, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. We had two rooms — a corner king and a connecting room with two double beds. Both were spotless and incredibly comfortable. The linens and robes were luxurious, and the beds were perfect for a restful stay. What really impressed me was the housekeeping team. Somehow, they always knew when we were out for an extended period, and like magic, we’d return to beautifully cleaned and refreshed rooms. The amenities were equally fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool, gym, and steam rooms — all well-maintained and relaxing. We were also upgraded to the Club Level, which turned out to be the highlight of our stay. I was traveling with a very hungry 20-year-old, and the Club Lounge did not disappoint! They served fresh, high-quality food throughout the day — from poached eggs and pancakes in the morning to sushi, steak and fish in the evenings. Every meal was delicious, and the service was top-notch. I especially want to mention the gentleman who worked the mornings at the Club Lounge during our stay — I regret not getting his name ( weekend of Nov, 7 2024.) He was kind, welcoming, and genuinely fun to chat with. You could also order any cocktail, and everything was included. The Club Level upgrade was completely worth it. The set up was roomy and just over all AMAZING. After staying here, I also visited the Ritz-Carlton in Boston, but it honestly felt more like a standard Marriott by comparison. The Ritz-Carlton Chicago truly stands out. I can only hope to return soon. Thank you, Ritz Chicago, for such a memorable stay!

Great renovated hotel would highly recommend. Excellent location. Good service. Amazing lake view. Excellent gym. I would definitely come back. I went on business but had some time off so the location helped to walk around and shop. I ran across the lake drive which is close by

"not worth it"

The hotel is nice and the location is great, but that‘s about it. Valet was hard to find at arrival. Quality of food in club level was very poor and only little choices. I like to spoil myself but next stay in Chicago will be at acompetitor for sure.
