Days Inn by Wyndham Paintsville

I booked the room last minute due to a funeral . Walked into the room looked around to find specks of something on the sheets, burn holes in both the bedsheets and the comforter. My husband and I left and did not stay in the room. The lady at the front desk warned us that the room was "rough" and that the stay was nonrefundable. I've called to get a refund but no one will return my calls. BEWARE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ITS A ROUGH PLACE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don’t ! Run down past its prime it was only one night so we just bit the bullet and stayed. Most of the furniture. In the room would or should have been thrown out. I don’t think even goodwill would take it. Paint falling off the wall Mattress was like a pice of ply wood. If u need to stay in the area try the other Marriott property by the hospital. Believe the other reviews trust me we should have

Had waffles for breakfast. The frozen in the room worked very well.

The room stunk bad of cigarettes smoke even tho it was a smoking room. Had alot of fruit flies in the bathroom. Hair dryer didnt work at all. There was burn holes in the bedspread. Some sort of bugs were on the flat sheet. And a bunch of long gray hair on the blanket. As if the bedding was never changed. The office chair was broken. I almost fell to the floor when I sat down. The red chair was badly blackened stained. 1 light wasn't able to be plugged in for better lighting. And an multi outlet was on the desk for the coffee maker fridge and TV. I dont know if the TV worked or not. I nevered used it. The alarm clock was blinking the wrong time. My feet were black shortly after my shower. So I assumed the floors were not washed. And had to ask for unstauned towels and was cloths. Only to get brand new looking washcloths and still stained towels but less noticeable stains. Didn't use the coffee maker in the room. It was a bit noisy from the road it is close to.

Older motel with upgrades. Our room was 101, handicap accesible. The electric outlets did not have USB B or C hookups, and where the TV was plugged in had piggy back extension cords...kinda wonder if it was up to code. Bathroom faucet was "taped" to the wall....again questioned if it were to code. Otherwise the room was clean, staff was extremely friendly. Motel sits close to road so a lot of traffic noise.
