"I had my first ever night in NZ at The Chateau back in 2009 and relived that loveliness."

All staff went out of their way to help me, especially Chris at check in, friendly and understanding of a little old lady stressing a bit, Rasmine (brain fog can't quite remember) on morning room cleaning was superb, helping me with the lift, the lady (Supervisor) at the desk at check out who helped me with my bags to the car. the Barista girl who went to ask Supervisor if I could have a take away thingy for my breakfast and going promptly to find one. Location .... I got a bit lost driving an unfamiliar rental car with no GPS. Not your fault but it was dark and hard to see so I ended up driving in the Exit!

"Christchurch was fantastic."

Breakfast was satisfactory. Parking was great.

The fridge had two thimbles of milk, no water bottles which would have been great. The beds were covered up nice but the bottom sheet was still just crumpled up or tucked under. And the TV could have Netflix or other. So for $500+ we’ve had better for less money so for a Hilton Hotel we expected better.

"Tasteful, tranquil, garden ambience in the heart of the city."

Its always beautiful to stay here, where we got married ......we like to stay once a year when possible, even in the middle of winter it has a lovely ambience. The grounds are beautiful and have a lush, tranquil feel even when there's a lot of guests. The pool is heated...the breakfast is always tasty. ..and all this in the heart of Christchurch!
