Quality Inn Walterboro I-95

We did NOT feel safe at this hotel or in the neighborhood - NO housekeeping staff

Not very welcoming. Good for 1 night stay.

Didn't like not dusting outside around the doors for spiders

Room 128 was covered in mold including curtains, lampshades and mattress under the sheets. The lamp stands were all rusty and the lamp shades were moldy and rusty. Bugs smashed into the curtains and lights had bugs in them. The front desk was nice and did refund our money so we could find another hotel.

I stayed five nights and I found myself halfway between Savannah and Charleston each you can get to within one and a half hours and even visit all those places in between.

I had bed bugs and ants crawling in the bed. I showed the staff pictures and videos. The front desk said let me get the manager then after taking forever and me bagging all my stuff to clean in plastic trash bags, I go back up front and all of a sudden the manager is out of town with no way of refunding me in any compacity or helping any part except I'll get my $50 deposit back like duh what an insult, that's an automatic. I've never seen this type of incompetency with the front desk actually saying I was insulting her! You put me in a room with bed bugs, lied about your manager, and refused to help in anyway! Not even offer laundry service for all the clothes I have to take to the laundry mat now! Disgusting place and service!

I booked this property a few minutes after midnight for a last minute sleep stop while driving long distance. The reservation was for the following day because of the date change at midnight and I was denied a refund from the property AND from Expedia. I am beyond livid and am so disappointed and disgusted by the lack of customer service and support ESPECIALLY from Expedia (which I *used to* use very frequently). Hello Travelocity!

Friendly staff! Clean and bright building

The motel is older and as such somewhat dated. But most things have been renovated. More is underway. It is outside entrance which some people do not like. Breakfast is along the lines of the new typical things rather than the full hot breakfast.

I wasn’t impressed. Three years ago I stayed there and it was pleasant, this time just pure disappointment.
