Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Warren

We knew we would be in a bit of a rush when we arrived to I did the online check in. It was a waste of time because I still had to wait to get my keys and they still insisted on running my credit card at the desk, and checking my ID, all of which I did online. Then I got like 8 (not exaggerating either) modification emails over the next 24 hours, which was highly annoying. Once I was finally handed our key cards, we rushed to our room to change into different outfits for going to a Tigers game. We were in the room maybe 10 minutes. I would also state that the hallway smelled. The room didn't so we let that go. We didn't get back to our room until around 11:30 that night, exhausted. We got into bed and passed out. The next morning was when we noticed how disgusting the floors were. Sticky, filthy, with long black hairs stuck to it. I don't have long black hair and my husband is bald. It wasn't just 1 or 2, there were many. I also saw finger nail bits, and all sorts of random dirt pieces. It was so gross that I put a towel down beside the bed to wipe my feet before climbing in. I would have marked the room lower except whoever is working in your laundry is doing a great job. Bedding seemed very clean and the towels were soft and fresh. Again, we had plans and were in a rush. The desk clerk was busy so we just left. We didn't return to our room until later that evening, with our arms loaded and we're not in the mood to deal with the lack of cleanliness of the floors. I knew that the solution would be to move us to another room, which is not what we wanted to do at that time. My husband kept socks on until he was getting into bed and I left the same towel on the floor to wipe my feet before climbing in. Guests should not have to deal with this. Yes, I could have complained, but we had already spent 1 night before we realized just how gross it really was. Daylight makes a massive difference. I did stop at the desk when checking out and let them know just how bad it was. Less for our benefit but rather so they could ensure the room got properly cleaned before the next guest. I won't return because I don't trust that it would be any better of an experience.

Very comfortable atmosphere and people working there.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly, professional, and always ready to help. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with great amenities and a relaxing atmosphere. The location was convenient and close to everything I needed.
