The Old Post House B&B

Sehr nette, hilfsbereite und gastfreundliche Vermieter. Fiona war immer für ein nettes Gespräch offen und hat uns hilfreiche Tipps gegeben. Unser Zimmer und unser separates Bad waren sehr sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Auch der Frühstücksraum war sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtetet. Es gab die Möglichkeit zur täglichen Auswahl verschiedener frisch und liebevoll zubereiteter Frühstücksangebote. Ein gemütlich eingerichteter Aufenthaltsraum stand zur Verfügung und es bestand das Angebot zur Nutzung des Gartens.

We stayed at The Old Post House for one night and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It's a gorgeous building. Fiona and Dom are wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome. They have such a great knowledge of the local area and were able to recommend several walks and things to do. They show a lot of love and passion for their town and it was lovely getting to know more about them. Our room was the deluxe double and was very light, spacious and comfortable. We really liked the ocean-themed décor. The shower was powerful and hot. The bed was super comfortable and everything was very clean. You select your breakfast items the night before and there is a good selection to choose from! I like this as it saves on waste. Fiona makes delicious homemade bread which I highly recommend you try! There is a relaxation room which can be used for reading and/or yoga and plenty of books to peruse. The B&B is a 2mins walk from the main car park, which is free to use and has free toilets (in case you want to arrive earlier to explore before checking in, like we did). Very easy to find. It's also less than 5mins walk to the town centre - I can recommend The Dog & Rabbit Café for lunch, but be mindful that booking is essential as it can get very busy. There is also a great art gallery (free) in town that is worth a look around. A local Co-op provides any forgotten essentials. We went to see a play at the Minack Theatre (a short 8 mile drive) and Dom very kindly lent us cushions and a blanket in case we got cold - super thoughtful and kind. We were so grateful for them! The B&B is also a great base for walking. It has some stunning coastline and is worth exploring. We did a loop walk to Cape Cornwall which was breath-taking. We then drove to Sennen Cove (about 4 miles) and walked from there to Land's End (it's about 1.5 miles each way and the car park is a lot cheaper at Sennen). You can walk from St Just to Sennen, but we were a bit short on time. There are plenty of other walks too - all printed out for you to look at in the breakfast room. Highly recommend a stay here - we really enjoyed it and would love to return. Thank you for making our stay so memorable.

The room was gorgeous, comfy bed, everything was just perfect and delicious breakfast.

Was lovely to have a little lounge to sit in and use of yoga mats. Fiona was very welcoming and gave us lots of local info.

Fiona & Dom were so friendly & welcoming. Our room was spacious, comfortable and light. We really liked the shower - powerful & hot. Breakfast was yummy, with amazing homemade bread. They lent us cushions & a rug for our Minack theatre trip, which was very thoughtful and we were grateful. Parking is a short 2mins walk in a free car park. They recommended lots of walks around the area. A fantastic stay, highly recommend & would stay again.

Central location convenient for restaurants, shops airport and car park. Property clean and attractively decorated. Owners friendly and welcoming.
