Air-conditioning wasn’t working

Let’s do this bullet point style. I had to spend 15 minutes chasing down valet when I arrived as no one was at the stand or knew where he’d gone. The room has a smell of mold. The bathroom sink was not clean, I’ll include a photo. It took them 5 hours to send someone to clean it. Then the AC did not work so they had to send an engineer who forgot to screw it all the way in, so we just did that ourselves. And then there was a spill on the comforter, so we called and called until we reached someone and they sent up a small brown blanket that was harder than a rug and the housekeeper said “we’re a busy hotel, we don’t have anything else”, so I had to text the line about that and he said “that’s all we have”. And then someone else texted shortly after and apologized and said that’s not something they say to customers and offered to send up a comforter….. which as I’m guessing you have figured out by now: is what we originally asked for. So they sent up a lady who I’m assuming was more customer facing as she had a blue jacket on and she threw the blanket into my arms and walked away. So I texted the line again just to get her first name to escalate it up and I received silence. I’m not saying this is the worst hotel, but as all of my friends staying in the Hyatt seem to not experience any of this — I would spend the extra buck and go there instead.

The location of the hotel is great for attending games at Rupp arena.

The pool was very small for the location. Didn’t look like it belonged there. Looked cheap and run down.

We took 100 people to a convention in March 2026 and stayed at the Hilton. It was a wonderful experience! They were great to work with in planning and preparing, as well as the days of the event. Excellent service all the way around, I would highly recommend!

When you walk into the Hilton Lexington Downtown, you are greeted by a lovely staff at the front desk. Leandrea was the young lady who welcomed me to the Hilton and wanted to make my stay perfect. One morning, I left my favorite Yeti Mug, earned from Lemongrass Spa, at the elevator on the 17th floor. I called and asked for Lea. She immediately went to the 17th floor and retrieved my mug. I walked back over to the Hotel to see her smiling face, with my favorite mug. Thank you Leandrea. Jacob helped me with my reservation, prior to coming and Jenna is always the best at making my stay the way I love it. Thank you Hilton Staff. During this stay, Lauren, at the bar, ( I hope I have her name correct), was a delight and makes an amazing margarita. Thank you Lauren. I look forward to seeing each of you for my next visit. A shout out to Stephanie, Luna, Katrina, Clif as well.

Bed was comfy and I like the later check out time at 12.

However, the vending machines could have been filled and a snack machine would have been nice. Also I was charged $15 to my room bill for parking but I also paid $25 for parking in the garage to get out.
