Palm Suites

Lovely view of the saltmarsh and intercoastal from the balcony. The room had a lot of personal touches and seemed like a private suite that is rented when the owner is away

It was a nice location and convenient to book.

The floors felt gross inside the room and even my small children didn’t feel comfortable being barefoot because of how grimy the floors were. The bed sheets were itchy which tells me they weren’t fresh. Also the pictures show yellow walls, but it was blue and that might not be a big deal, but yellow gives a different mood than blue for me, so that was disappointing, too.

Location & comfort

We are frequent visitors. Every room is different. They assign rooms on a rotation. Sometimes we are assigned a room that we don’t enjoy as much as other times.

Great location! The room was nice and clean. The hotel staff was very friendly!

I wish that residents could fish from the dock (even if a pass was needed from the front desk).

Everything was really nice. I wasn't expecting all that we received. Although it was a bit dead around town and no one seems to go to the beach on this side of the state, I noticed the Palm Suites was definitely busy. We enjoyed ourselves, got to explore without all the crowded areas where tourist would be. I love the fact that someone checked in with us not too long after check-in just to make sure everything was good and we didn't need anything. The person also checked on us the next morning just to make sure we didn't have any issued the first night. We couldn't find the air switch but the when I texted the person, they quickly responded and let us know there was a thermostat on the wall that we just missed. Quiet, great set up and great place to relax for sure.

I can't really complain about anything. There was labels on things which made it easy to locate or point out things in the room, maybe a label for the thermostat would have been nice because we totally missed that one. LOL. Maybe add a set of dishes/cups in the cabinet since there was all kinds of cutlery but no plates. It's ok. We made due as I come prepared when we take road trips.

Beautiful sound view when you take a walk out back to the gazebo. Within walking distance to restaurants. Also, close to where we wanted to visit - Beaufort and Fort Macon. This is a condo hotel so each suite is different depending on the owner. Our suite was well stocked, nicely decorated, and comfortable. Just what we needed for our 2 night stay. Easy check-in, 24 hour front desk - in my opinion, better value than an Airbnb.
