Red Lion Hotel Port Angeles Harbor

I am always so happy to see the front desk staff at this hotel, they are always super friendly and helpful! And the hotel is in walking distance of so many cute places! (Pink pony cafe for coffee is a must!)

Nothing bad about the property, but when booking on any of the booking sites, there’s nowhere to put you have a dog. I was able to put that in the ‘requests’ portion and pay the dog fee at the hotel though!

The room was very large -- and it was clean and beds were comfortable. Amenities were available. Wi-fi was good and 'stable.' Location was great for our needs. We went by foot on the ferry to Victoria and back and used the Red Lion for 'night before' and 'return.' It proved to be a very good decision! We paid for parking at the motel - same price as public lot - and we felt it was safer.

The room was positioned where there was no ramp/elevator -- I am recovering from ankle surgery and it made it a bit difficult - but that would not have been an issue after my complete recovery. The motel is VERY LONG -- so if you get a middle room there is a pretty good walk. We had to get breakfast foods to prepare in room as there is no breakfast available. Small thing to plan for - but that's the way it is.

Room was spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable, Bathroom was clean and had all 'extras' provided. Room overlooked the parking lot -- water view would have been nice - but we were a discount customer. Location was GREAT for walking onto the ferry to Victoria - and we stayed here again on the trip back. Microwave was handy as we prepped breakfast because there was none at the motel.

Did not clean our room or replace towels we had to call for towels not very clean had very uncomfortable bed and pillows.....not a good value and no breakfast service

Spacious room, lovely views of the water (the sea view room), comfortable beds, nice shower and mostly friendly staff. Extra comforter was available when I asked for it.

Room wasn't clean, we found dirty tissue in the ice bucket, and trash near the bed. The check in person didn't inform us of the amenities we had to pay a resort fee for and he failed to inform us, nor did we see it anywhere that clean up service was on request. The smell in the room and corridor was stale and the bathroom was freezing.

Rooms are very spacious and clean and the front staff were very nice and helpful! We ordered food to go from the restaurant on the property and it was very good and the staff there was also very friendly!

Location on harbor and next to trail was very nice,

Room and halls had a weird smell and the refrigerator freezer in the room was melting and spilling water into the main fridge which caused my food to get wet and I couldn't freeze my ice packs. Super irritating.
