Red Lion Hotel Coos Bay

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms and the exteriors of the hotel could definitely use some extra care and cleaning. The eye for detail is definitely lacking but after talking to the staff that goes back to the owner, he shortcuts the staff and the maintenance guy which leaves the hotel in a state of needing some extra repairs. Sad. It could be an absolutely beautiful place in a great location.

The bathtub faucet did not work correctly so we did not have hot enough water to take a bath. The main counter bathroom sink did not drain. The mini fridge is extremely small and the maid service did not once knock on the door asking us if we need anything when we were there for 7 days!

Close to Shore Acres.

Someone tried to come into our room. Heater didn't do well. Toilet was so low you needed to sit sideways to get up by pushing on the wall and pulling on the side of the tub.

Nothing

The old cheap mattress with no mattress cover was horrible. The room had large flies in it. The bottom of the toilet where the floor meets reeked of pee smell.

The room was clean. I was happy to see two sinks in the room. It was very quiet for a Saturday night. I will definitely stay there again.

The heaters was set too high. Had to leave the door open for a long time to cool it off.
