Location, on top of extremely steep hill. I guess that just SF The room we got could use a freshen up! It was a handicap accessible room, the bath room door may have been hit one time too many. It would not close and could use new paint. The closet door was not level. House keeping may be operating on short staff, bed sheet was not properly tuck, but was covered with blanket🤯

"Beautiful but needs refinement"

Beautiful hotel, and well-located, but full of minor annoyances. The gym closed at 4 pm on my day of arrival so I couldn't work out - which usually helps me adjust time zones. Breakfast restaurant didn't open until 7 am, and the cafe was ridiculously expensive to assemble a continental breakfast. There is no charging port or outlet on the desk. The bell men were distinctly uninterested in their job.
