May Studio is good, highly recommended!

location was ok, comfortable bed

the wifi was,nt very good,, t,v reception,, was awful, convenience store at site, closed for the whole time we were there,,,only warm water for a shower

It was studio apartment with balcony. All the room appliances were new and in good working condition. Bathroom fittings are good quality. Room was spacious. Room and hotel was clean.

1. There is a glass window at high elevation between the room and bathroom. For bathroom lights are on, it adds too much light in the room through the glass window, which is disturbing during sleep time. 2. In bath room, there is only one switch common for exhaust fan and light. In night doors and windows are to be closed to avoid insects and mosquitoes coming in. In this situation there is no ventilation for the room if bath room exhaust fan is off. But if exhaust fan is kept on, the light is also on due to same switch, and it brightens the bedroom too much. 3. The cloth hanger rod is at too much height. It is inconvenient to use them for a normal person. 4. Hotel owner/manager have not applied their common sense, and never bothered to understand from user point of view. Nor they are interested to listen or understand for improvement. I called lady manager to come to room so that I can explain problems like above, but she did not come. She did not call also to know my point. 5. Lady manager will come only some time. In the day time reception was mostly vacant. So there is no one for any query, help or information. One girl who runs the shop in the adjacent room comes when called, but she does not understand English, so of no use.

This is the 1-star hotel that acts like a 3-star getaway from home. Nothing but impressed at the value for money, location and facilities of this little property. It is essentially a full-service apartment where you can cook, iron, and have plenty of space. Bed is comfortable too. Great little convenience store on the ground floor next to the reception, so handy! (Wish more hotels did this).

We stayed on the top floor which was fine, except for the placement of the top of the stairs just outside the elevator. I'm very surprised none has yet come out of the elevator and gone tumbling down the stairs, but i guess that's just the quality of building in Vietnam. Nearly impossible to find the owner/manager if there was no check-in/check-out scheduled as she was only in the reception at those times.
