It was an excellent trip except we don’t like the comforters that seem to be a staple in countries overseas from the US. It is hard to sleep since the comforter is too hot and without is too cold.

"A beautiful, well-kept, historic hotel "

What a beautiful hotel with exceptional service and staff. The room was lovely and very clean. We especially love the robes and slippers and the evening turn down service with extra towels. Easy access to the sights and restaurants as well.

"Beautiful "

We loved this hotel - beautiful world elegance and stylish appearance , our suite was tastefully furnished however our bathroom door was quite loud to close late at night when you don’t want to wake your partner ! If you don’t like noise at all this may not be for you / we could hear the rumble of trains underneath but it never bothered us

"Brilliant breakfast"

Really nice hotel great location, good parking and nice to our dog. The most amazing breakfast. One criticism is that arriving in our room the safe was missing. At reception they started that happens as people walk off with the safes. Now isn’t the point of a safe that you can’t just walk off with it? Spoke to the hotel manager who seemed completely disinterested in the fact that they have removable safes. Anyway would still stay again.

Lovely hotel in a great location. Concierge was wonderful with information and getting us a taxi to the airport. The only complaint is be sure you know what you are paying for. We were told breakfast was included with our room charge so we took advantage of that. But we were charged $45 (4500 Kron)

"Grand Hotel indeed!"

The finest room we have ever experienced. As it says, a "Grand Hotel" situated in the heart of Oslo. Central to train transportation to and from the airport and the central train station is just 15 minutes walking

"Exceptional"

Really nice hotel in a convenient location. The staffed worked hard to make a room change to one with a walk-in shower but none were available for the dates we required. The tub has a high side to step over and the tub is slippery. Need a mat or something to prevent slips and falls. The staff is amazing!
