Jurmala Golf Club&Hotel

Die ruhige Lage beim Golfplatz und der im Preis inbegriffene Parkplatz war für uns bei der Buchung wichtig. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist super und das Personal sehr freundlich. Auch das Frühstück war exzellent und im Restaurant kann man abends auch sehr gut speisen.

Ist etwas weit weg von Jūrmala, aber das hätte uns bei der Buchung schon auffallen müssen. Mit den Fahrrädern kommt man nur über eine holperige Schotterstrasse ins Zentrum. Aber das ist ja nicht das Problem des Hotels.

Average breakfast, not much of a choise, charging for early - 2 hours checkin (15€), instead of 15.00 at 13:00, for a room, which was anyway prepared. Far away from everything.

No such thing

We liked welcoming attitude when we arrived at the hotel from receptionist which was kind and informative, even joked a little bit. Everything about hotel rules and room was described well and understandable.

We arrived at the hotel in the evening after a long first honeymoon day, we were a little bit tired so we decided to take slow shower, after being there for 10min we realised that there is too much water in the shower space and something is not right and the whole bathroom floor is wet so we tried to understand what is the problem, apparently it was showers canalisation system where water was not going down or went too slow. Water also got out of bathroom and made entrance area wet so i went to receptionist to inform her about the situation and get some help so after describing the situation all i received was that she can't move us to another room because all of them are booked, no apologies, no offering some help, zero supportive attitude, it was hotels technical issue that's why i expected some help. I even had to ask myself for a mop to clean the bathroom and move water from the entrance area to the shower space for it to go down. In the end after i asked for another pair of room shoes because previous got wet i received a comment from receptionist - is that gonna be all and can i go eat my dinner or you will need something else!
