breakfast buffet is free & good value. having a starbucks is great. building felt secure (some riff-raff at night). good location (downtown)

rooms felt dated even though it seems redone, the hotel market was terrible: fridges not working/sealing, room temp beer and disgusting 711-type microwavables. hallways/elevators are beat up, views of highway

Overall, our most recent stay at Hampton Inn Tampa Downtown Channel District was excellent. The facilities were beautiful, clean, and well-maintained, creating a very comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. The location was incredibly convenient, within walking distance to nearby stores, and with the port close by, plus the added bonus of a free shuttle to the Port of Tampa. What truly stood out, though, was the staff. Everyone was friendly and helpful, but Colin went above and beyond by assisting me even before I arrived in Tampa, which made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and I would absolutely recommend this hotel to others visiting the area.

Inflaron muchísimo los precios cuando las cadenas hoteleras se enteraron del concierto de BTS, no me pareció justo ya que el hotel dio una tarifa de un 5 estrellas y no lo era

High cost and there was a weird tar smell coming through vents the entire night. Breakfast was good

La habitación y las instalaciónes son bonitas y esteticamente aceptables.

El personal tiene muy mala actitud, desde que realice el check in la recepcionista insistia en que le diera un número de telefono con área en estados unidos, solamente tenía mi número de telefono de mi país y le explicaba que era turista y que no tenía un número de telefono de EEUU, se molesto y me decia: "¿Entonces como vamos hacer? ¿Como te reporto si algo malo pasa en tu habitación?" Hizo mala cara y me dio mis llaves, sin decir más nada. Al siguiente día necesitaba pagar uber y el uber me comento que no tenía cambio, así que me aboque a recepción a consultar si tendrían cambio, un "No tenemos cambio o no hacemos cambio" era suficiente, el señor de recepción de una manera agresiva me respondio que no le importaba si yo fuera huesped y que no me iba hacer cambio, el señor del uber que estaba ahí viendo las malas actitudes del recepcionista le explico que no tenía porque comportarse así si yo solamente era huesped e hice una consulta, el recepcionista dijo: "Entiendo lo que dicen..." dando referencia que tanto yo como la persona del uber somos latinos, " pero no les voy a dar cambio" volvio a casi que gritar y se dio la vuelta dejandonos ahí. Igualmente, el personal del buffet; cuando se acercaban personas nacionales, o sea afroamericanos y norteamericanos, les atendían con una sonrisa y les hacían charla, pero cuando me acerque a consultar por algo la chica casi que me tira el plato, también hizo mala cara y se entro al lugar de la cocina. Por su mala atención no volvería.
