"2 night midweek stay"

The lovely lady who has worked there 50 years gave us a lovely welcome. The bed was clean, huge and comfy. Homemade pizza and curry were nice.

Cobwebs and unkempt in places. Bath was rusty and The whole place in need of an overhaul. Like stepping back to the 80s. Takes imagination to imagine it in its heyday..

"Riverside hotel with great view"

The view from the king room was lovely to wake up to. Access to tea and coffee in the room. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Other than the pizzas, the menu was lacking. Double beds were always two single beds pushed together, so not the most comfortable. The area our room was located in was very cold. The decor was very dated.
