"A day at the races"

We stayed at hotel for race day. The hotel is lovely and room was very comfortable. Staff were welcoming on a very busy day. My only disappointment was quality of food. We ordered food at 8pm and there were a number of items unavailable. We waited 45 mins for food and had to locate our own cutlery. The food was not great. My husbands burger and presentation was very poor. My lasagne was microwaved to the limit and cremated at edges. Disappointed.

Absolutely fantastic staff. They seem to get friendlier every visit. Room is super clean, very comfortable and peaceful. It is great being able to bring the dog who seems to love the area - and the hotel!
