Guesthouse Bistra

The hotel is absolutely charming-simple yet beautifully decorated, extremely clean, and very cozy. We felt really comfortable in the room and truly enjoyed our stay. Communication before arrival was excellent, and the check-in process was very easy and clearly explained, even though we arrived very late after the reception had already closed - smooth and well organized.

Unfortunately, the breakfast was very disappointing and did not meet our expectations at all. We had read many positive comments about it, and since we were traveling with a child, a good breakfast was very important to us. However, there were two types of bread - one was as hard as a rock, while the other seemed undercooked. I mentioned this to the waiter, who apologized and brought the same bread again, only this time properly baked. The “boiled” eggs were not properly cooked either, and the kiwi and mandarin were not edible (perhaps they were only meant as decoration). Overall, there was barely anything we could actually enjoy eating. In the end, our child only had some oats with milk, and we left more food on the table than we ate. The only bright spot was the yogurt, which seemed to come from a local farm and was really good.

Locatie, de ruimte om het gebouw, de kamer (na kamer veranderen) eerst kregen wij een kamer, klein met aparte bedden , hadden wij zeker niet geboekt, gelukkig werd dit zonder problemen aangepast. Goed ontbijt en aardig personeel

Vreemd hotel, restaurant ging vroeg dicht (was een feestdag) je moest voor 18.00 bestellen anders was de keuken dicht, hotel is op maandag gesloten, nou wij waren daar, als enige, niemand te bekennen, personeel was vrij, verder helemaal niemand van het hotel. Als er een calamiteit zou zijn was het onduidelijk wat te doen.

Un endroit superbe isolé dans la campagne mais assez proche de Ljubiana. Un gros bon point pour le personnel pour sa gentillesse et sa réactivité : la clim reversible ne fonctionnant pas dans ma premiere chambre où il faisait froid; on m'a immédiatement changer de chambre en me surclassant. C'est en principe presque normal mais le temps de réaction à été quasi instantané .
