Maison au calme avec joli jardin, partie cuisine agréable

Petit déj limité, chambre un peu petite et humide

During my stay, the room and bathroom were not clean.

we verbleven in een aangenaam huis dat goed onderhouden werd en een proper uitzicht gaf. Alhoewel de ingang tot het domein lang en zeer smal was aangelegd , was de parking ruim groot genoeg om goed te kunnen maneuvreren.

De eetplaats voor het ontbijt was eerder klein, maar wel verzorgd. Voor de rest heb ik geen verder opmerkingen.

Séjour excellente. Hôtes très accueillants et ayant répondu à tous nos besoins. Logement très confortable, très spacieux et très cosy avec magnifique terrasse donnant sur un paysage somptueux.

Muy agradable la habitación con baño privado, no era grande pero justo lo necesario para un par de noches. Las fotos no le hacen justicia, estaba mucho más bonito y el baño era muy rústico pero chic. La cocina, mesa y desayuno son compartidos y son muy correctos!

Cuidado con la cuesta estrecha de entrada! Llevábamos un SUV y entró justito. El resto todo bien.

L’absence d’accueil sur place. L’obligation d’aller récupérer la clé dans un hôtel à Porto Moniz. Je précise que le mail envoyé par Casa do Robeirinho en faisait état.

If you want a different Madeiran experience, a bit more culturaly real and out of the beaten path, this is definitely it. For sure the most beautiful thing was the garden, full of flowers in April and some fruits, that you can pick up from the trees and eat - yummy! There is a kitchen to cook your own dinner. Not super equipped but you´ll figure out everything you need. The location isn´t for everyone either, but again, if you are looking for less touristy spot and levadas, this is your location.

The fact that there is no reception and you have to pick up your key at a restaurant really far makes it a bit inconvinient. I didn´t have internet the whole day and wasn´t able to check the instructions they have sent us (didn´t know there were any) and just realised it standing in front of the closed reception and calling them. We had to travel back down to the beach for about 20min to pick up the key in a restaurant. The room was very cold when we arrived in April. We had a small heater prepared in the room, but it took few hours for the room to heat up. It was raining that day a lot and we were very cold and wet and would appreciate coming to a warmer home. The breakfast is very basic and served in a way that not everyone will appreciate. You sit together with the other guests at one big table, there is no service, so you can only guess what you are supposed to do :) the amount of food served in front of you is "just enough" for everyone , so everyone is ashamed to take another bit of everything, so that other guests have anough. It is really strange, but if you are young spirit and outgoing, it might be even an opportunity to connect to other people :D

Tout était super. La chambre, le petit dej’, le lieu. C’est convivial, à taille humaine… made in Madère ! Attention par contre, la Casa do Ribeirinho se trouve dans les hauteurs de Porto Moniz, après quelques virages en lacets et une belle montée pour le parking. Le chemin d’accès est très étroit, bien faire attention avant de s’engager.
