Seashells - Central Family Getaway

Location.

A few maintenance issues. Shower heads and knobs falling off. Past review highlighted this but obviously not attended to. Ants in the kitchen and no spray available. Bbq gas ran out during a cook and there were no bbq utensils. Regardless the grandkids wanted to return next NYE.

Location is excellent

Not as comfortable, not enough utensils, no Hooks for towels or jackets. No hair dryer.

The location, it was very close to everything.

On the first night there, the shower head fell off and sprayed the whole room. We had to get tools to fix it back into place. Then the shove didn’t work for the whole time we were there. We got the house because we wanted to cook our own meals, but unfortunately weren’t able to do so since the electric shove and the oven were not functional. We had requested for them to look at it and in the end, they just said it’s not working. Didn’t offer us any reimbursement or alternatives for cooking. Very disappointed.

The location was great. The house accommodated 10 comfortably with the large living room and two bathrooms. We loved the big back yard for the kids to run around. The barbecue area was well utilised.

The lounge only had seating for 5 another couple of couches in this area is needed. Also block out blinds on the bedrooms. There is no wi-fi connected.

Great location, close to shops, food, beach and entertainment

Hot water keeps running out after 4 people showering (4-5 minutes each). It came back in the morning so we have to take turns showering at night and in the morning. A couple of use braved the cold shower. There were 10 of us in total.
