La Foresteria Garden Boutique B&B

This is a beautiful property with charming art deco interiors. I booked it for the lovely garden as shown in the pictures. The host, Mirella was superb. Our arrival was delayed due to closure of the airport, Mirella kept in communication during this time. We had to leave early to go to Mt Etna and Mirella packed us a lovely breakfast for us to takeaway. Thank you.

Catania airport was closed when we were due to arrive and we had to make alternative journey to Sicily. I had written to booking.com in advance to let them know that we won’t make the first night of the accommodation and had asked for a refund. I have had no response to date (very poor!!) and calling on the phone has been without success either. Considering that we managed to switch flights and car hire from Catania to Palermo, I feel let down by booking.com that you have not responded to my email.

You need a car to go to the beach.

The property was very nice and clean. The hosts were knowledgeable and were there to help us to have the best time. They had good recommendations for places to visit or to eat at.

Mirella and Francesco were very kind and cares for everything we arrived very late at night and Mirella was in contact with me before arrival to direct and make sure we will arrive safe. the breakfast is perfect, tasty, fresh and with personal touch Francesco was very kind and helping us planning out daily tour providing guidance, maps and directions location is quite, with available parking slots, close to the center (driving distance) but for for walking distance

A jewel in Catania. You enter and you are in a unique oasis located near the historic center. Terraces, gardens and an extremely tasteful interior offer a relaxing stay an a home-feeling from the start. Public transport and several shops in walking distance. We appreciated the friendliness of the hosts and their valuable tips. The breakfast buffet deserves 5*.

No negatives remarks.

When you open a gate to accommodation, you are in another world. Beautiful small garden, everything clean and originally decorated. The room was clean with great terrace. Hosts were extremely nice and helpful. Very good breakfasts. We also ordered Sicilian dinner in the accommodation and it was great. Lot of various food and very, very tasty. It was perfect! Our hosts also helped us with transportation to to city center, bus station and airport. I can really recommend this accommodation!!! Thank you both :-)
