Gardenview Guest House

The breakfast was lovely, and made to specifications, the staff is extremely friendly. Overall a wonderful stay and my new go to place in PE. :-)

Safe location, comfortable rooms, spacious bathrooms with baths & walk in showers. Spotlessly clean

Pool was not maintained and water was green and unswimmable

It was very comfortable, had everything we needed and was a good location

Area is nice and quiet. Kitchen lady is very friendly and welcoming.

1. When we arrived, the microwave in the room had food from.a previous guests and had a bad smell. This means the rooms are not properly cleaned. 2. There were guests that were friends with the reception guy and they were partying when we arrived on our day 1. They made noise up until around 2am and that is when were were able to sleep peacefully. 3. On our day 2: Our used towels were not changed, even though we've used them twice and put them on the floor as instructed by their room leaflet. They just folded them and put them in the bathroom again. So, we used the same towels for 3 days. Also, the room was not properly cleaned on our day 2. The bed was not properly done, also, the garbage bin was not emptied. 4. Breakfast has very limited options and instructions were not properly followed for our eggs. On our last day, the guesthouse did not have brown bread and they didnt have juice for us. They said they are out of stock. And we had to use our juice.

We stayed here while visiting from the USA for a friends wedding! Garden View Guesthouse exceeded every expectation!! The staff was truly exceptional - so warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was made fresh for us every single morning and served at a time that worked perfectly for our schedule, which made the experience feel extra personal and thoughtful. The property honestly looks even better in person than in the photos. Our room was bright, airy, and filled with beautiful natural light, and having our own private patio deck was such a lovely bonus. It felt peaceful, welcoming, and like a little hidden gem. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again - highly, highly recommend!
