We look forward to welcoming you to Orange Stay Apartments located at 889 Collins St, Melbourne. Our office is located at the back of the 889 Building next to the river at 74A, kindly proceed to our office for the check-in process. Please inform Orange Stay at Collins Wharf in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. Our reception is open only during limited hours of 9am to 5pm daily. For arrivals after hours, a lock box service is available free of charge with adequate photo ID and credit card provided prior to arrival. Please note that personal late check-in carries the following extra charges: - From 18:00 to 22:00 (AUD $50); After 22:00 (AUD $100). This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties. A damage deposit (pre-authorization only) of AUD 500 is required on arrival. This will be collected by credit card on arrival. You should be reimbursed within 14 days of check-out. Your deposit will be released in full by your card issuer, subject to an inspection of the property. The number of guests cannot exceed the number stated on the reservation. Guests who are unable to meet these requirements will not be granted access.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. A deposit may be required at the property.

"Great location, room was awesome with views of the river but wondering if the key location could be made easier."

Great location. Clean and comfortable.

Arrived at 5pm so had to pick up keys from another property. Given detailed instructions but as it was raining, negotiating these instructions wasn’t easy. Juggling phone with instructions, bag and umbrella and then finding where the large padlock was located at the back of the building through a gate. As it was on the ground, bending over and putting in the combination in the pelting rain, then going back around the building only to then find another building and negotiating how to get into that one. So whilst we got there in the end and the room was great, I’m glad it was still light. Would have been awful in the dark.

Bed was very uncomfortable. It was confusing where to collect the key for checking in. The bathroom wasn't clean properly.

Great location. Nice view. Functional space.

Mattress was very ordinary. Could feel all the springs. Photos showed a Nespresso coffee machine, however after only bringing pods no coffee machine was present. Air conditioner didn’t seem to be adjustable, possibly locked out by building management. Quite often either hot or cold and adjusting thermostat made no difference. Very irritating fan noise coming from above the manhole cover, closing the bedroom door did make it bearable enough to sleep.

The facilities were exceptional! Modern, clean beautiful apartment with everything we needed for our stay. The location in the heart of the docklands was so convenient and easy to get around.

Only 2 things were a bit challenging, but they'd be down to personal circumstances. The blinds aren't total blockout, and I need darkness for a solid sleep. The lights from the adjacent dock area made the room lit. The security deposit was $500. Typically, when I travel, it's around $100, so it was a lot of money to be held for a week until it was released.
