Hostal La Esperanza

We had a wonderful stay at this hostel. The room was very comfortable and had everything we could possibly need. Right behind the hostel there is a football field, and our kids had a great time organizing a match with the many local children playing there. The neighborhood is full of kind and friendly people, and the hosts themselves are a lovely family who made us feel truly welcome.

Extrem zuvorkommend Besitzer, welche bei wenn nötig sofort helfen und tipps geben. Die Lage ist gut und es liegt in der nähe des Flughafens. Ich empfehle diese unterkunft sehr!

Everything is amazing! The hotel far exceeds my expectation! The air conditioner is a life saver for the whether in Leticia. I really enjoy a very good rest after tours in the jungle!

The hostess is very kind and welcoming. She went above and beyond to be kind and helpful. She was always available and attentive. The hostel is extremely clean and has a common kitchen upstairs. The check in and checkout process was simple and easy.

Close to airport and a lot of good street food, with local prices. Best grilled chicken right across the hotel.

The owners were nice and welcoming, they also offered me a laundry service.

Have in mind that if you say you don't want to use the AC, which costs a bit more, you will get a tiny room without the fridge that is shown on the pictures when you book. Just a heads-up for future travellers! To me it was quite difficult to sleep with the noisy fan and the window was very tiny so there was no air circulation. The hostel is around 25 min away from the center which, as I discovered, is a lot in Colombian terms as I didn't feel safe walking with so many stray dogs. There are tuk-tuks going around so normally you can catch one but might have to wait.
