White Cottage

My stay was wonderful. The little extras such as home made cake and Jams were lovely. Really nice walk to a local pub for tea. Hosts so friendly and couldn't do enough for me. Will definitely be returning!

Situated in a quiet lane with parking on the road. A nice 25-30 minute walk to nearest pub to stretch the lags via a bridle path. A very hospitable welcome given and very friendly people. A traditional stone cottage and didn’t disappoint. Perfect for visiting David Austin rose gardens. Would stay again. Thank you.

We had been to visit David Austin Roses and White Cottage was in a reasonable distance from there - we did not want to travel back to Nottingham on the same day. We were made most welcome by Rob. The room was well presented and thoughtfully laid out. The bathroom was sparkling! We were provided with tea/coffee facilities, milk and wine. We were also give two pieces of the most delicious cake! Breakfast was wonderful and again, beautifully presented, with lots of choice. Nothing was too much trouble for Rob and Jackie. They are excellent hosts and clearly know their business. The White Cottage is a little gem!

Set in beautiful countryside, this large cottage was so clean and comfortable and hosted by the friendliest couple in the world. The room was large with a very nice en suite. The cooked breakfast, complete with homemade jams and prepared by the French chef Robert, was to die for. We had full use of the large, very attractive gardens to enjoy the complimentary drinks and cake. An absolute pleasure to stay there.

Location to where I needed to be was spot on and access was easy for parking as I’ve a 4x4 and some places prove difficult, but not here. Spacious room which was very clean. Well kept bathroom with a powerful shower.

Nothing at all. Everything about my stay was wonderful.
