The George and Dragon Inn

The room was lovely and clean. The beds were OK. The breakfast was excellent.

The food was Amazing. The meals were exceptional, it was like eating in a Michelin star restaurant. I would recommend anything from the menu.

That we only stayed for one night

We were there as all the food is dairy and gluten free. The food was excellent and the place welcoming. They have run it since 2023 and put a lot of work in making it comfortable.

Nothing to dislike

breakfast was second to none. location seemed odd at first as in a busy little town on a hill but great pub and rooms were around the back so nice n quiet, lovely old beams

size of room but its was one night so fine really. get shower rail fixed .

Clean but basic with a small twin room. Central location

Commercial waste bins outside the room. No room wifi. No house keeping done during 3 night stay. Small bathroom. Very bouncy mattress

Very comfortable. Really helpful staff. Lack of wifi access in rooms was only disappointment

Very clean, amazing staff very welcoming and brilliant food. Didn't realise it was gluten and dairy free. Great stay perfect spot for many walks on the Offa's Dyke.

Lovely room and comfortable bed. Only disappointment was that breakfast lacked the expected cereal /juice and toast.

We are a family and booked 2 rooms, both were lovely, very clean with nice decor. Breakfast in the morning was delicious, cooked to perfection and staff very friendly.
