The Drovers Bed and Breakfast

The breakfast was better than I have had in 5-star restaurants. This was not your standard continental or even your basic Full Scottish breakfast. Everything was prepared with fresh ingredient and made to order, delicious! Drovers B&B was perfect, and there are a few really nice places to have dinner with some cute little shops to spend a day walking about meeting the locals all are so friendly.

Only thing to say negative is that I was not able to stay longer.

The Drovers needed to give me a refund. Owner is arrogant, lacking in knowledge, no customer service ethic. Won't acknowledge his mistakes.

The breakfast was exceptionally well made and very delicious. The room used a good old-fashioned key. The house itself is lovely and right in the middle of town

The only negative for me on this specific trip, was that the breakfast was only available between 0830 and 0930. Ideally I could have done with a longer window, although with just the couple doing everything and the quality being so high, it was OK.

cleanliness and attention to detail with linen & furniture

An absolutely lovely place to stay, our room was the one in the picture. A really interesting historical building (dating from the 18th c.) in the centre of town with plenty of choices for evening meals. Our hosts, Jill & Michael, have set high standards throughout & we would recommend this to anyone.

A beautiful old house in the centre. Lots of eateries in the vacinity. Clean and tidy throughout. Huge bed and luxurious bathroom (separate showers and rolltop bath). Large towels and separate seating area. Little extras such as water and tissues. Delicious home cooked breakfast.
