Hôtel le calife

J’ai séjourné une nuit dans cet hôtel. Malheureusement, l’accueil n’a pas été à la hauteur de mes attentes. Le personnel n’était pas particulièrement accueillant ni souriant. On nous a attribué une chambre au troisième étage alors que nous avions plusieurs bagages, et l’absence d’ascenseur a rendu l’accès très difficile. Le petit-déjeuner est vraiment très limité : un café, un croissant et un simple jus de citron. C’est insuffisant et décevant pour bien commencer la journée.

En revanche, je tiens à souligner les points positifs. La chambre était très propre, la salle de bain avait été rénovée et était moderne et bien aménagée. La climatisation fonctionnait parfaitement et l’emplacement de l’hôtel est pratique pour visiter Tunis.

Le camere possono essere di qualità diversa, soprattutto il bagno in alcune è nuovo e in altre piuttosto vecchio

No hi havia nevera (important quan fa tanta calor a fora). La ubicació està aprop de la medina però no és el millor carrer per allotjar-se, amb molt de trànsit.

All the staff is kind and welcoming. They also have a Bar in the hall with fair prices where you can spend some time and we watched world cup games. The room was clean and everyday they provided a refresh of sheets, toilet paper, washing kit and a quick clean. The price you pay for this hotel is very honest.

Location is not a in a touristic and fancy area. It depends on what you are looking for. My gf and I love this kind of areas to live the real culture of the countries we visit. It is located at the entry of Medina and offer the possibility to eat and visit very authentic places.

Very kind and helpful staff. It was perfect that the reception arranged for us taxi rides that we requested, through local apps with pre-set prices, without any overcharge (for example from the hotel to the airport 15 TND, while our friends staying in a nearby hotel were charged 60 euros for the same trip that they had booked through their hotel reception). They also arranged for me an appointment for hammam. A hotel exactly as described in the booking, clean, suitable for city center lovers, just outside the Medina, almost everything within walking distance. Lively full of local stores and safe location, although dirty as in all of Tunisia.

There is no elevator.

Good location close to the Medina. Nice staff, the night employee Ghaith was very helpful and nice to talk to. Place is clean

I think it was fine honestly. There's not much more you could want for a comfortable stay.
