Jago Gili Air

We stayed here to celebrate my 50th with family and friends and it was absolutely perfect. The setup of private villas and individual rooms around a beautiful communal pool made it ideal for gathering while still having our own clean, well-sealed, air-conditioned, modern spaces to retreat to. The staff were beyond anything I could have hoped for—so warm, attentive, and genuinely part of the celebration. Every pina colada, breakfast, and coffee was made with care (and the coffee was excellent!). The location is fantastic—right in town so you can walk everywhere, yet once inside it feels peaceful, private, and quiet. I’ve stayed beachfront before, but I much prefer this spot for its easy access to boats, restaurants, shopping, and yoga just next door.

Honestly very little—if anything, being so central means you’re not directly on the beach, but for us the convenience and privacy more than made up for it.

Jago was conveniently located, only 6-8 mins up from the dock. Staff were friendly, and a special mention to Herry who recognised us from our friends who had previously stayed. Room was great sized, lovely air conditioning and great breakfast. Jago was a great jumping off point to see all of Gili Air. The staff also gave us several recommendations for places not picked up on by social media and they were fantastic!

Nothing; stay was perfect

Loved our stay here, we had the two bedroom villa with private pool which looks exactly like the pictures! Staff is super friendly. The location is great since it’s close to the harbour and you can walk / bike the whole island from here. Breakfast could be ordered the night before and was served on the villa. Bedrooms were soundproof, couldn’t hear anything. Booked a private snorkeling trip via the hotel which was great as well. Will definitely come back!

Beds were too hard for my taste, but that’s personal preference. Only bad thing: we had to leave!

Everything. Jago Air is the best accommodation on Gili Air. Comfy beds and pillows, sound proofed rooms, Netflix Smart tv, cleaned daily, amazing staff and centrally located. Can't wait to return

All staff were very welcoming and friendly, Heri was outstanding advising us all on what to do, where to go and if we needed another coffee. Top top man
