Semanggi Cottage

Thank you Wayan & his family for the warm welcome! We enjoyed staying at your Cottage & eating at the Warung. Also, the breakfast is very good (omelette or pancake with fruit! very yummy) The view on the rice fields is amazing. Wayan took us on a tour of the village & explained us about the Balinese culture. Thank you so much ! For sure, we will come back!

We stayed at Semanggi cottage for 4 nights. The family was very friendly, helpful and available. The owner brought us to the coffee plantation for free. The room was spacious and it was cleaned everyday. Breakfast was served at the room. We enjoyed our stay 100%. Highly recommended.

I would put tea kettle in the room, but it's not the issue, just suggestion. The rest was excellent.

The family running Semanggi are just the most gorgeous family & will do anything to make your stay better. it was cleaned daily to a very standard and I was very happy there.

Nothing

It was so peaceful and relaxing there, and our room had beautiful views overlooking a rice field. There were also a couple of super friendly dogs and cats who lived there, they would always greet us when we got back and would visit our room to say hello! If you’re an animal lover, then you’ll love this place for just this reason alone.

The location is a little out of the way, but only less than 15 minute drive to Ubud centre, so it’s fine! Plus that’s what makes it so peaceful, so we were very happy with it! You can also rent a scooter from the property for 70k a day so location isn’t really an issue

Location, staff friendly

this was a last-minute booking when the hostel that I had checked into was not honest about their parking situation. I checked in the next day here and the owner stated he had safe car parking. It was taken up by scooters but there was an entire field that I could park in safely. The staff was extremely friendly and if I notified of a problem they immediately fixed it. It’s north of ubud by about eight minutes so you don’t have the hustle and bustle, the traffic, and the noise. The room was huge with a bathroom that had a deep soaker tub. The swimming pool is beautiful. There was also a kitchen set up with a refrigerator stove top sink dishes and cookware. Plus free drinking water. thank you so much for your hospitality!

very very low water pressure in the shower. But it was hot.

Very nice accommodation in the middle of the rice fields! We spent 5 nights here and felt like home. The family is friendly and kind, they help you with everything they can! We also liked that they cleaned the room everyday and the breakfast was really good.
