Banaue Pink Eco Hostel

A nice hostel at a good location. The openspace common area was nice, the food excellent. They organized tours and guides and even sent someone to pick you up from the bus stop. Everyone was friendly.

I didn't get a key for the room and the locker. But it seemed safe.

The guesthouse is lovely. Awesome view, very cozy, delicious, and simple dishes, and the stuff is very welcoming! Certainly the perfect choice for staying in Banaue!

La chambre était correct, un ventilateur pas d’air climatisé. Le personnel gentil et avenant. Il ne faut pas avoir peur des marches, c’est haut!!! Nous avons entendus les chiens aboyer et les coq chanter toute la nuit.

It was my second time in Banaue. Both times I stayed in the Pink Hostel. Both times I booked a guide through them. Last year a one day tour to Batad Rice Terraces. This time two day trek through Pula and Cambulo. They helped me to book a guide, transportation and a room in a guesthouse in Cambulo. I recommend those tours! I enjoyed them a lot!

Tours seem to be expensive (compared to other tours I have been to in the Philippines), but based on my quick research those prices are normal. Banaue apparently is just more expensive than other towns in the Philippines. For comparison: in an eatery in Tarlac I pay 50 pesos for food (ambula + 2 rice), in Banaue the same food costs 150.

Excellent food, nice clean room.
