Negombo New Queen's Palace

The room is great and the location is hard to beat everything is within walking distance, including the beach just 5 minutes away. That said, a couple of things left us with a bad first impression. When we arrived tired from our trip, we asked if we could eat at the hotel and were simply told to go find a restaurant outside no recommendation, no apology. A little more consideration for guests who've just checked in would go a long way. We also weren't given any information about the pool hours, which we had to figure out on our own. Overall a solid stay, but small details in the welcome can make a big difference.

Pleasant stay. The owners are very good and engaging. Most important is, the bathrooms and the rooms are clean.

The connection to the T. V is comfortable and relaxing for the children if it was available unfortunately it was not connected.
