"12 nights in Trogir"

8.0

We arrived early and warmly greeted by Sanela who apologised that our room wasn't quite ready. We left our luggage and went off to explore. Its about a 10 minute walk over the bridge into the heart of Trogir. Traffic can be busy at times. The room had all we needed, comfy bed, kettle, fridge,tv great shower and balcony which looked out over the garden. Breakfast was served every morning on the patio. Plenty of choice meats/cheeses/fresh fruit. Sanela could not do enough for us. She makes a great omelette. In fact all were very friendly and helpful. The pool was wonderful to sit by and read or dip in when it got too hot. Plenty of sunloungers with great views across to Trogir. Worth doing a guided tour of Trogir with Portal Agency or take the boat to Split. Takes about 1 hour each way. Do the guided walking tour there too. See the roman soldiers change guard at 12.00,Climb to the top of the bell tower or walk up the steps to Marjan for stunning views of the city. Back in Trogir there are many small ferry boats that will take you along the coastline and back. Enjoy a stroll along the harbour and see the amazing yachts moored up for the night. Plenty of great restaurants to enjoy a meal or just an ice cream. A beautiful part of the world if you love history.

"Treated like royalty"

10.0

We had an early morning flight so arrived at the apartments at 10 am just expecting to leave our luggage in reception and check in later. We were greeted by the owner and her husband along with a young lady helped run the apartments. Our room was ready for us and any my husband was provided with a fresh orange drink while i unpacked. Most apartments had balconies and a view of Trogir but our room was on the bottom floor at the rear. We had a private table under the carport which gave you a view and also our own table and chairs by the side of the pool, Beach towels are provided and also the bathroom towels are changed daily. A couple of times we had gone out for the evening and had left washing out on the airer provided but it had rained while we were out and come home to find the washing had been moved under the canopy. My husband had mentioned after the first night that the pillow was not comfortable and later that day was provided with different pillow. We were made to feel so welcome and nothing was to much trouble and would love to go back but would go for a room with a balcony next time.

"Relaxing and beautiful"

10.0

We were very satisfied with our short stay. The hotel was a little bit tricky to find with our gps, but it’s located on the main street, just look for the sign. Small parking area is available. The accommodation is absolutely wonderful ! Beautiful home, and beautiful rooms. The rooms are fully furnished with everything you would need (i.e.cookware, refridgerator). Breakfast was delicious served on the outside terrace with fresh egg Omelette made to order if you would like one. The view from the room was also very nice. We just felt so relaxed. There is a pleasant short walk to the historic area (about 5-10 minutes) with lots of places to look at for shopping and eating. The staff was very friendly and spoke good German, and English. The woman who serves breakfast also does the laundry, and cleans the rooms, and she was just such a wonderful happy person. Very pleasant to talk to, and really wanted to make our stay enjoyable. They allowed our pets to be with us, which was so nice for us, and they were very welcoming to our dogs. We would stay again.

"Short winter trip"

10.0

We wanted to spend New Year Eve in our beloved Mediterranean area and Croatia is closest possibility from Prague. Central Dalmacia is just great - real Mediterranean subtropics, just 1000 km from Prague. We selected House Bakica and we did not regret. We got fantastic apartment with stunning view over historical center of Trogir. Apartment was fully equipped, with good bed and spacious bathroom. Landlady was great and we had about 500 m to the fantastic Trogir center. The only issue was to find property, streets of Trogir are without signs. Tom-Tom did not work at all, Garmin-Navigon in my iPhone get us finally to the place.

"Great Location, Service and we would definitely come back!"

10.0

My partner and I fell in love with the wonderful and beautiful city of Trogir but also this brilliant B&B apartment. We travelled at the very end of the holiday season (late September) and had very few other guests with us. The service and information provided by everyone at the hotel is really high standard and the staff are very very helpful, if you need any advice please ask Gorana who is in charge of the hotel. She is such a wonderful lady who always had a smile on her face. It took us around a 10/15 minute journey from Split airport to the apartment and the cab prices are reasonable. But once you arrive at the apartment it's a fantastic location with a 5 minute walk into Trogir and also the option of a cheap boat ride to Split (approx. an hour journey) which travels every couple of hours, which we definitely recommend doing. The apartment was a lower tier bedroom with no balcony. It had two single beds which had been pushed closed together, a small fridge, kettle, fast speed free Wifi by the pool and in the apartment, shower and a TV which showed hundreds of International tv channels including English News channels. There also is a swimming pool which is not heated and a nice jacuzzi integrated into the pool. Breakfast was fantastic, Gorana can arrange most food - bread, yoghurt, cheeses, pancakes, fresh fruit and much more. It was all a very high standard with great variety and more than enough to feed the both of us. You will not be able to self cater in the apartment we had as there was not a sufficient kitchen but we were able to go to the local bakery and supermarket to stock up on very cheap and nice food, wine and beer. But there are lots of fantastic restaurants in Trogir which will help you to forget the lack of kitchen. One thing which I would say you need to be aware of is that aeroplanes do come over the house/Trogir fairly regularly. It didn't affect us but when in the apartment you can hear a faint noise. Overall I definitely would recommend this B&B for the location, the good value for money and the fantastic service, especially from Gorana. But please be aware that you need to pay for the bill in cash at the end of your stay instead of paying upfront online. We hope you have a fantastic trip like us and we would definitely go back again. Mark and Sophie 24 and 23 years old.
