בעלי הבית, זוג בשנות ה-50 שלהם, קיבלו את פנינו בחמימות וחביבות נפלאה כבר בכניסה. המקום שופץ לחלוטין ומיידי הרגשנו בבית. החדרים נקיים ונעימים. המיטה נהדרת וטובה ומקלחת עשר. ישנו כמו תינוקות. בערב ישבנו אחרי שחזרנו מארוחת ערב בשולחן עם בקבוק יין משלנו בחדר האוכל והיה נהדר. עוד פטפטנו עם הזוג הנחמד על הא ודא. בבוקר הכינו לנו ארוחת בוקר בדיוק כפי שביקשנו.(קיבלנו רשימה כשהגענו שבה סימנו מה אנחנו אוהבים לארוחת בוקר). היה טעים.

The owners' hospitality was exceptional. They reserved a parking spot in front of the hotel for us, and when we left, they sent us out with a coffee to go. The room was clean, well-designed, and equipped with all the amenities needed. Our room (and I believe most of the rooms do too) had a balcony facing the beautiful landscape of Meteora, and having a morning coffee there was a memorable experience. We would certainly return to the Oikia guesthouse if we were in Kalabaka again.
