"Great room but lacking a common space."

Excellent location and room.

You need to book the champagne bar, and there are no other communal or common spaces – nowhere to hang out or grab a snack.

"Mini break to Edinburgh for a 3 night stay"

I would highly recommend this hotel, the location was perfect walking distance to all the top sights, 15min walk from the Castle, on the edge of the old town, just minutes from the station but you can’t hear the trains as station is enclosed with a roof. The top floor of the hotel has a wonderful bar with amazing views of the city also has outdoor seating. The breakfast was excellent. The staff couldn’t do enough for you. Our room was a homey room, it was smaller than expected but had everything you could wish for including a well stocked complimentary bar and snacks. The room was spotless with an excellent shower. The welcome glass of Champagne was a really nice touch to kick off your holiday.

"Without doubt a wonderful experience"

The location is excellent. You can explore and get about really easily. The atmosphere at the hotel is excellent. The staff make all the difference too as they are all so lovely. The room was spotless and really comfortable with a great view too. I would definitely recommend a stay at this hotel. It was great value for money and we will certainly go back.

"Cool, elegant and steps from the railway station."

A very cool little space with warm and friendly staff. Just steps from the railway station.

My room was elegant and practical but very small - and with just a sliver of a window, there was barely any natural light.

"Ross's travels"

Amazing hotel in a perfect location. I cannot recommend it highly enough for the comfort and extremely high quality facilities. We were 2 couples and both rooms were faultless. We travel a lot and have stayed in loads of hotels but the Market Street is now one of our top 3. The free mini bar with a lovely mixture and champagne at check in are great perk.

Nothing I'm just sorry we didn't book it for 2 nights. We will defo be back
