Old Keepers Cottage B&B

The Cottage was lovely, full of character, warm, quiet, with excellent views and a great cooked breakfast. Lucy is a star and just wants you to enjoy your stay.

We had a lovely stay at Old Keepers Cottage. It is a charming characterful property, set in large pretty gardens with stunning views across the river valley. Lucy was very welcoming, and helpful with suggestions and information about the surrounding area. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and the breakfasts were tasty and filling - I particularly recommend the kedgeree.

Impeccable hosts, cream tea on a arrival and complementary drink. Breakfast was top notch and the views from the dining area are fabulous. The grounds are beautiful and the bed was extremely comfortable. Only thing worth considering is the sat nav doesn’t take you directly to the address. And the lane is very narrow (Only 1 car width) so be vigilant of this. However I got my RS6 Avant there and there was also a Ferrari stayin at the time so it is drivable.

Only stayed for one night, it's the sort of place that makes you want to stay longer. Super comfy & fantastic views with a really tasty breakfast. What more could you ask for...

This is a wonderful place - beautiful views of the estuary. Very spacious and comfortable room with huge windows and the amazing views again. We were warmly welcomed and we would definitely recommend a stay here.

What a fantastic find! Very much like the B&Bs of the past where you become a guest in a person's home - and what a lovely home it is. Well worth the stay.
