1511 Coconut Grove

Mooie locatie en prachtige omgeving.

Herrie van de naburige generator, karig ontbijt, te weinig en kapotte strandbedjes. Al met al te duur voor wat je krijgt.

Coconut Grove is a charming beach hotel! Its located right at the beach (you just cross over a footpath and there's the sandy beach with chairs plus also a little bar). Another bonus of the location is that the turtle sanctuary is right next to the hotel and you can start a nice walk to the waterfall. The rooms are located in individual bungalows - mine was very cosy, with a comfortable bed. The staff was extremely helpful and organised transport and snorkeling trips.

Not an issue in my opinion, but the rooms are not soundproof and there are no blackout curtains - so you either get up with the sun or get an eyemask.

Sehr schönes Ambiente, freundliches Personal. Würde jederzeit wieder kommen

It is super close to the beach, and staff were friendly and nice.

Nothing against the property, just that it is not a big resort, so not much facilities.

Der Manager der Anlage ist stets sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Beste Lage in der Bucht, wahrscheinlich die beste Unterkunft dort. Die Hütten passen gut zur Umgebung, im Gegensatz zur benachbarten Anlage, die Luxus verspricht, aber Beton bietet. Das Restaurant ist ok. Fragt nach frischem Fisch, den es nicht jeden Tag gibt. Es gibt verschiedene Biersorten und sogar Cider. In der Bucht sehr ungewöhnlich.

Ich hatte eine Hütte für mich allein und somit Anspruch auf zwei Portionen Frühstück. Das war sehr ausreichend und lecker. Eine Portion wäre mir zu wenig gewesen.

The location is really beautiful and the owner very friendly. We stayed in the beachfront which is a nice lodge . Unfortunately the bedding was really dirty. We had to ask for different pillows as ours was full of stains, yellow and really gross. They should put an extra layer around them that they easily can wash. The bed sheets weren't very clean either. Beda were comfortable. They have an excellent cook for dinner. Though you can't really enjoy it that much as the noise in the restaurant from a exhaust fan or generator (not sure) was so extremely loud. A real pitty as the location is beautiful but the noise just spoils it. We therefore ended up eating elsewhere on the other nights even though the cook was great. Breakfast is simple and not much you can only choose between set breakfast and it was just not enough. We would recommend as the location is nice but there is definitely room for improvement
