The room actually smelled like faeces and we had to leave could not stay. In fairness they tried to reaccommodate but the damage was done

Lovely hotel very friendly, clean, modern decor in rooms.helpful great place to stay centrally for visiting the whole of Cornwall. Nice Indian restaurant within 3 minutes walk from hotel which you can take your own alcohol. ***** will definitely be booking again in the very near future. Thank you to all staff involved.

the toilets in the foyer need a little tlc but our room and en-suite were spotlessly clean. Lovely fresh crisp linen on the oh so comfortable bed, would definitely stay again

A nice and friendly welcome. Very nice and comfortable room. Modern bathroom. Clean. Evening meal superb and a very good breakfast. Good location to base yourself in and five minute walk from the town. Would definitely stay here again.

The reason I picked this hotel was due to the good comment on the website. However it is a different story when we arrived. The hotel looks dated and things were broken e.g light bulbs not working, door handle broken. you would not feel welcome and there was lack of travel information leaflet like most of the hotels. The wall is thin you would expect to hear people talking or walking at night. I wanted to check out immediately after the first night. The only thing that is good is...........um maybe the bed is comfy but that is it.

For a base to stay in to explore the area very good. Generally clean and tidy and for the price very good.

A somewhat dated hotel perhaps a superior B & B. Staff just friendly enough. Breakfast very good.

Hotel just needs to be updated. Would be nice to have a mixer tap in the sink as hot water us too hor. Bed mattress was too soft.
