Gaslight Bed & Breakfast

In all of Cincinnati, there is no place I'd rather stay. Gaslight provides a unique experience that you will never get at a multi-national chain, regardless of the room cost. Maria does her best to provide a pleasant setting, great breakfast, and wonderful conversation. We stayed in the "Swiss Family Robinson Room" - which I would highly recommend. Overall, we really had a great experience at the Gaslight B&B.

The property was eclectic. A unique neighborhood. Plenty of on street parking.

Breakfast and accommodations were excellent. Location was convenient since it was near a college with great food options, etc.

Can a bed be too soft and luxurious? I think it was bordering on that, but great still!

Very comfy and homey property. Owner is very friendly and considerate. The home is beautiful in an old but well maintained neighborhood. Would definitely return.

Above all: Maria and her husband Scott- we had an extraordinary stay in a lovingly maintained historic home. Their care and concern for guests is evident from the reservation process forward. Breakfast is a gourmand’s feast. The location is close to shops, restaurants, a movie theater and the Cincinnati Zoo.

This comment should not be construed as negative but rather as a note relative to a site feature:My husband has balance issues.. he ascended stairs carefully; I find climbing stairs invigorating! I mention the stairs simply because some individuals might prefer accommodations on one level. We were quite content!

My husband and I stayed here on our trip to The Ark Encounter in Kentucky and had a fabulous time. Our train got in at 3AM, which was communicated to Maria beforehand, and she was so accommodating to welcome us at that insane hour. The house is really big and quaintly decorated (it’s so cute!) and we had plenty of space and privacy. But be prepared for lots and lots of stairs! We didn’t exactly pack lite, so that’s the one recommendation I’d give. Otherwise, I have absolutely no complaints. Breakfast was always fresh and tasty, our accommodations were nice and comfy, and our host was most gracious. Will definitely be going again.

The room was comfortable with everything that you would need Maria was great especially with her delicious breakfasts. We would definitely stay there again
